One reason why the listenership of Hallam FM has declared since 1999 is due to the introduction of platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify where by people can pick and choose what songs they listen to and connect it via bluetooth.
Another reason why the listenership of Hallam FM has declared since 1999 is due to the rise in different radio platforms. Due to the vase choice of radio station in todays society, people have a lot more choice in what radio station they listen to.
