  • Focus group - allows them to analyse a group and get a diverse opinion on what they should include
  • Interviews - interview competing companies on their success or even members of the public to get advice on what to include too be successful 
  • Secondary research involves internet searches, books, magazines
  • Qualitative - descriptive, in-depth data
  • Quantitative - data can be measured numerically

Lucifer - Case Study

  • Questionnaires - the tv show changed from amazon prime to Netflix, therefore, you could use a questionnaire to get information on what they would like to change and what they would want to keep the same. 
  • Interview - you could interview someone very religious such as a priest to get feedback on religious beliefs. You can be more sympathetic and change questions to ensure that they feel comfortable. 
  • You can post a picture of the devil on instagram and analyse the comments received on the subject.
  • You can use a focus group to analyse fans of the show and ask them what they like about they show and would they would change to improve the show.
